Тень Фредди имеет толстые конечности с плотно прилегающими накладками на плечах, из-под которых вылазят оборванные провода. У аниматроника большие цельные ладони, не разделённые на фаланги, на которых всего по 4 пальца. На ногах Тень Фредди, как и у Золотого Фредди, по 3 пальца.
Туловище Тень Фредди напоминает по форме грушу. Робот обладает внушительным круглым животом с пятном посередине.
У Тень Фредди карикатурно большая круглая голова без шеи. На макушке справа есть маленькое медвежье ухо на штыке; на месте левого вылазят пучки оборванных проводов разного цвета. У него крупная морда с овальным носом и рядами белых прямоугольных зубов. Тень Фредди обладает пустыми глазницами, в которых горят белые зрачки — во вселенной FNaF это состояние часто называют «серебряными глазами» [2] ; над ними нависают толстые черные брови, а из правой глазницы также вылазит пучок проводов.
Подобно всем версиям Фредди, из аксессуаров он носит чёрные галстук-бабочку и шляпу-цилиндр. В качестве реквизита он держит в правой руке микрофон.
Внутри Тень Фредди пуст, о чём говорит его поза: он почти всегда сидит, согнув неустойчивые ноги перед собой (исключение составляют только мини-игры). Тем не менее, внутри Тень Фредди можно местами заметить суставы, аналогичные эндоскелетам Сломанных аниматроников.

Shadow Freddy is a supporting antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise. He appears as a minor character in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the secondary antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, the first antagonist of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator and a minor antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted. He is also a unlockable character in the RPG spinoff FNAF World and a minor character in the novel Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Twisted Ones.
He is an enigmatic character who lured the animatronics to William Afton either to help the former or the latter.

Appearance
In his original and most known appearance, Shadow Freddy has exactly the same appearance as Withered Golden Freddy, although the color is changed from golden/yellow to dark purple. Due to this, he’s in disrepair. He completely lacks a left ear and has many tears over his body. Unlike Golden Freddy, his eyes and teeth glow white. In Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, Shadow Freddy lacks the glowing white effects for the eyes and teeth, and covered with green levels that appears to be lighting from the Office itself.
In the VR game Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted, he shares the exact appearance as the original Freddy Fazbear. Although he has glowing white eyes and teeth, his overall color is completely black rather than purple.
In the minigames of Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, he looks like Freddy, except purple.
Biography
Five Nights at Freddy’s 2
Shadow Freddy appears only as a rare easter egg encountered in the Parts/Service room after everyone leaves it (including Foxy the Pirate). He sits in Withered Bonnie’s place.
He appears in a slumped position similar to Golden Freddy in the first game and also uses his model. Looking at him too long will cause the game to crash. Brightening up this image reveals that Shadow Freddy is purple in color like several other key items/characters in the franchise, bearing comparisons to William Afton’s minigame sprite, the Puppet’s «tears», and Fredbear’s hat and bow tie among other things.
Five Nights at Freddy’s 3
Shadow Freddy plays its most significant role in Five Nights at Freddy’s 3. In the end-of-night minigames, Shadow Freddy lures Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy in that order to the secret back room next to the toilets. Because their programming prevents them from entering it they are forced to turn around and walk away, at which point Afton ambushes them from behind and dismantles them. Shadow Freddy does not appear to the now-released ghost of one of Afton’s victims however.
Rarely, the player may see Shadow Freddy slumped in the leftmost end of the Office. He once again assumes the same position that Golden Freddy does in the previous games. However unlike the second game, he doesn’t cause the game to crash. He also does not attack or jumpscare the player.
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator
Shadow Freddy makes a brief appearance in in the beginning minigame of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator.
In the minigame, Shadow Freddy shows up as an obstacle in the third level, attempting to stop Freddy from giving the children pizza. Freddy needs to throw pizza at him to stun him for a brief moment, allowing Freddy to get pizza to the children behind him. In the fourth level, he begins duplicating rapidly and the entire minigame starts glitching. The minigame cuts to black and we are introduced to Scrap Baby and the Cassette Man.
Interestingly, he is called Dark Freddy in the game files.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted
Shadow Freddy serves as Freddy Fazbear’s replacement during the Parts and Service mode in hard mode, but has no changes in behavior.

Shadow Freddy is an unlockable character. He uses three attacks in the game:
As Shadow Freddy’s attacks all only have a small chance of actually killing someone, it’s necessary to have stronger party members alongside him. Successfully insta-killing an enemy can quickly put the fight in the player’s favor, though bosses are immune to this ability.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Twisted Ones
Shadow Freddy makes a small cameo in the book. He took Clay Burke, John and Jessica into the underground location where Twisted Freddy and Charlotte Emily are.

Shadow Freddy originally appears in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 in the Parts/Service camera rarely and can only be seen after every other withered animatronic (including Withered Foxy) has moved, found sitting in the area where Withered Bonnie normally sits.

Shadow Freddy makes another appearance in Five Nights at Freddy’s 3. He serves a main role in the end-of-night minigames (from Night 1 to 4), where he leads one of the four main animatronics to the safe room each night where they are dismantled by William Afton.
In the primary gameplay, on very rare occasions, he is seen slumped in the left-most end of the Office.
Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator
Shadow Freddy makes a brief appearance in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator in the opening minigame. In this minigame, Shadow Freddy appears in the third level. He’ll block the player from delivering any more pizzas to the kids. The player needs to feed the Shadow Freddy pizzas in order to freeze him in place. The longer the player feeds him, the longer he’ll stay.
In the fourth level, he will duplicate, causing the game to glitch, until a wall of sprites block the child off completely.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted
While Shadow Freddy doesn’t make an appearance in the game in his original form, Dark Freddy and Party Freddy are homages to him.

Shadow Freddy is a minor character in the FNaFB Series with often changing roles, he can either serve as an easter egg that helps the player reach the debug room in FNaFB 2 or the most TP requiring Summonable by Golden Freddy in FNaFB 3, serving as a direct ally. but he also serves as the past generator boss in FNaFB CC’s Finale.

Shadow Freddy will appear in the Parts & Service Room. It has an incredibly small chance of appearing, being at a total of one in 7.5 trillion chances to appear. He is also almost completely black making him a little hard to see.
Interaction [ ]
To begin, you should take any sound file, preferably a short one, and change its name to yiffed. It must be that exact name: yiffed. All lower caps and without punctuation. The format can be ogg, mp3 and mp4. Other sound formats might work too, but these 3 are sure to be valid.
You must then open the game files, go to the Audio folder and then to the BGM folder inside of it. Place the «yiffed» sound file there. Now you can begin playing.
Enter the Parts & Service room until you finally find Shadow Freddy and talk to him. A small cutscene will appear, ending with Golden Freddy screaming.
If you haven’t renamed a sound file «yiffed», it will crash the game instead, saying that there is a missing sound file.

Once interacted with a sound will play, a visual will appear on your screen, and the ‘yiffed» check is performed. Once the interaction is over a poster will appear on the front of show stage. If punched 2500 TIMES! you will be able to access the debug room.
Critikal mod. 1!! [ ]
If you’re playing on Critikal mod. 1. after meeting MLG Freddy and unlocking the Chetah ROOM, the game’s first Shitty Boss will appear in the Washing Maschine Bathroom: MLG Bonnie. He is a very ez boss, especially since you’re on Critikal mod. 1. but it gets harder with the right strategi and itemz.
The Chetah ROOM is stupid in this fight, as you should git gud insted of cheating bastard.
